Keep Australia GM Free
Australia gains a lot by being GM-free. Most farmers and shoppers in the world want to stay GM-free too. Adopting GM crops and foods would be irreversible so all state governments should extend their bans for another 5 years.
Terminator Technology
Seed sterilisation technology will make it impossible for farmers and gardeners to replant seeds from their own crops. New seed must be purchased each season. This would give enormous power over the global food supply to a few transnational corporations. This technology threatens the food security of future generations and should be banned.
