Sustainable Agriculture, Safe Food and the Threat of GM Wheat

Selby Community House, opposite Minak Reserve on Wombalana Road at the bottom of Charles St from the Selby General Store

From 7:00 PM

Talk by Gene Ethics Cropwatch technician Jessica Harrison.

Why did we allow GM canola to be grown in Victoria? Do the claims that GM will feed the world stack up? To the contrary, will GM wheat threaten our very daily bread? And who are the forces lobbying our regulators which are leading us to eat in the dark?

Our presenter is Jessica Harrison from Gene Ethics, who will also share how she became involved and the campaign'’s future direction.
